Teaching Japanese is my career, and I have been teaching Japanese for over 10 years.
The Japanese language and culture have really helped me a lot in my life. Apart from using Japanese in my professional life and to enjoy its entertainment, I also embrace some of its cultural values in my personal life, such as a profound respect and reverence for nature.
While I am not Japanese myself, I believe that my experience as a Japanese learner and teacher has given me a deep understanding of the obstacles that Japanese learners face, which enables me to help them more effectively.
Other than passing the highest level of Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT-N1), I have completed a 420-hour Japanese teacher training course organised in Japan, which is recognised by the Japanese government to teach Japanese as a foreign language.
I believe that students learn best when they know they can really use what they have learned in the lessons. I usually simulate some common scenarios that we will encounter in daily life so that students will know the grammar and vocabulary better and use them naturally in different situations.

Konichiwa everyone! I’m Teacher Nat and was lived in Osaka, Japan as a digital nomad. I think classrooms should be all about getting students involved and seeing them grow is what really makes me happy. I've been obsessed with Japanese idols and anime since I was a kid, which led me to study Japanese at the City University of Hong Kong and even do an intensive program in Japan. After working at a Japanese company, where I picked up a lot of language skills, I decided to dive into teaching-time. Now, I’m creating Interview Prep Courses help students nail their communication skills for jobs in Japan!

Hello! I'm Teacher Renee. My with Japanese started in elementary school through Detective Conan. I'm passionate about anime, Japanese music, and traveling to Japan, and I enjoy analyzing Japanese media linguistically. I graduated from the Department of Linguistics and Translation at the City University of Hong Kong, with a minor in Japanese Studies. I've helped Hong Kong brand enter the Japanese market and have experience in translation, copywriting and event coordination with Japanese celebrities.
